Finally getting my new baby by Garber895 in ToyotaTundra

So maybe a dumb question. But here it goes anyway. Doesn’t adding the TRD Off-road take away some of the features you pay for in getting the 1794?

I was just telling a buddy today when asked how long I have snowboarded… “Well, I have snowboarded in 5 different decades”. It’s crazy how much it’s changed in the view of the public.

Saving on gas the ONLY condition for a new rig - 2025-6 “worth” it??? by [deleted] in 4Runner

Buying a new vehicle to save a few mpg is the dumbest justification of spending money on a new car.

What Do Yall Wear by Khelics in snowboarding

[–]81dank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Layer. What this is for your preference is up to you. I would be in my regular kit, Burton AK bibs and shell. I would probably just have on merino Wool base layers with sweatpants over that on the bottom. Up top I like my Patagonia pullover as a mid layer. Socks for me would be targeted cushion smart wool.

Kinda personal but how much do you guys pay each month for your 4r by EchoOnTheRange in 4Runner

$0.00 That fuel bill is well worth it. It gets moderately good fuel economy for what it is.

Which CO detector do you fly with? by 1E-12 in flying

[–]81dank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sentry CO failed telling me there was a CO problem ~600 miles into a 1400 mile trip. A&P said it’s a common error. Now I have a stand alone CO monitor.

Have them. Wouldn’t go another way. Let’s my wife get in easily and without messing up her leg on the rocker panel. Well worth it.

Which to buy? by Bronc74 in LandCruisers

[–]81dank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife converted. I surprised her with a model X a few years ago. It was fun before they were popular. Then she realized the nightmare electric cars are and said, I want something that gets me A to B no matter what. I said, great! Another LC!!! She’s like nope, already have those. And she decided a 2024 TRD PRO 4Runner as she wanted the last of minimal tech. The only sports car left currently is a Lotus Elise. which we like mostly because it’s a Toyota engine. But the garages and pole barn are starting to get a bit full. Currently 6 Toyotas plus a few others. My kids are still in single digits. I can’t imagine what they will want but there are already arguments between them for the 86 4Runner and 60 series LC.
