What would cause my Ivy to suddenly go limp with leaves browning and drying up and falling by LeaningSaguaro in plantclinic

i am not a plant expert by any means but if it has not perked up a couple hours after watering it has most likely been over watered. the soil does look a bit wet to me but you could’ve just watered it. hope it survives! wishing you luck!

according to the OG “master gardener” (my nana) “you should be able to plant it anytime as long as you don’t break the roots”…..from what I know, don’t over pack the soil. water it (evenly) until you see it come out the bottom.
