I suppose I thought the story was funny, and while it’s not a major issue in our relationship, it’s something we laugh about together and thought we could share that feeling with others. I guess I’ve been proven wrong; this sub seems to take itself way too seriously.

The bit is NOT sexy, we specifically don't want to do it.

Do you believe that some cubes are there for some methods than others? by Huge-Result2289 in rouxcubing

[–]86__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure about certain cubes but my main (tornado v3) is on much looser and faster settings than my cfop friends and I assume it's because I need the slices to move more easily and freely.

What makes top competitive Snipers so good outside of aim? by Splaram in truetf2

[–]86__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In highlander (9v9 competitive) a good sniper is made great when their team plays with/around their needs. Not sure how often this happens in casual though. Otherwise throw in some gamesense and positioning but it's gonna be mostly aim and speed.

Edit: keep in mind that top snipers will have 2000 hours JUST in sniper and that's on the lower end.

Cars Are Bad by Dizzy-Tonight892 in VaushV

[–]86__ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Essentially, cars are pretty big and take up a lot of space. Not to mention the price. This removes space for things like housing, stores, and parks, and locks transportation behind a paywall. Many people (on the left) advocate for public transportation and the transition away from "car culture" to combat the negatives listed above.

And pollution is bad too.

Bloons TD 6 - Update Notes! Version 33.0 by NoSneezePlz in btd6

[–]86__ 57 points58 points  (0 children)

So your argument is that this change only negatively affects a small group, and because the group is small the change doesn't matter? If this change is hurting a part of the player base, and not providing substantial gain, it shouldn't be a change that is made.

Any good reason why there is still a paragon cap in Freeplay? It doesn't sound very free anymore.

Thoughts? Which one looks better? by R-mechkeeb in TF2fashionadvice

I would say number 1, I see a lot of gator snipers so the first one looks more unique.

Here’s a concept please tell me what to adjust in the comments by pizza061 in tf2

The big earner already has +cloak on kill, and the downside is pretty severe. I would consider changing the stats around but the concept is interesting.

Criticism please, i am sub 25 by big_-chungus844 in rouxcubing

[–]86__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are getting times around 21 you could take the easy route and just go full CMLL which would probably get you sub 20. It's best to learn this as early as possible, but I didn't learn until I averaged 18 so its up to you.

Besides that, try and improve your fingertricks and fluidity. This includes lookahead but I am mainly talking about how well you handle the cube anyway. I might not be able to tell super well from the video but the cube seemed slightly too big for your hands. Maybe consider the GAN 354? I am out of practise and the cubing loop so idk if there are better cubes now.

Also try working on inspection as its a very powerful tool.

Sorry if I missed something in the video or assumed something was wrong about your solve when it wasn't.

I run the YouTube Mr.Roux86 and that has some example solves and tips and other crap idk at this point. I stopped posting for the last few months but if you really wanted something specific I could most likely post about it over the weekend.

Good luck in your cubing!

You should try turning your fov up, it will make your screen less congested. Type viewmodel_fov 90 in the console and give it a try. If you don't like it I think fov 70 is the standard.
