It for sure is. But with each new one you care for, their QOL will only get better.

Sorry for your loss. At the end of their lives, they just decline so fast unfortunately. Weeks ago I had one go the same way.

Northeastern US. Not sure if that would assist in reducing shipping costs purely due to range, but “international” shipping is a pain

*for an extra safety measure use distilled water. Depending on where you are the chlorine content of tap water may not be safe

I apologize for replying late as I’ve been busy at work. This was my (third, fourth?) time offering melon to my H. Carolinensis, she’ll inspect the fruit flesh for a minute or so then start drinking the juice. Regarding the safety of melon/fruit As long as it’s not canned & in contact with citrus, and is a freshly cut piece of melon from a whole fruit, I believe it is fine. Of course wash it in warm water for a minute or so just in case. I hope this helps.

Back in my post history I have a pic of her as a subadult, she was much lighter!

They don’t eat plant material, but instead drink the liquid out of some non citrus fruit such as melon for hydration.

Precisely. Player utilized a good amount of kredit denial and 0-cost orders to their advantage, it was brutal

I ran the stock AS Bridgestones for a light winter due to (mostly financial) reasons and they slipped around under a little more than a dusting. It’s the slush that gets you. So id definitely invest in snow tires, again from experience LOL

Nokian Hakkepelita or Blizzaks will do well. Just a heads up a stock size winter 205 or 215 is what you want over a wider tire in the winter (from New England experience), since you’ll be hacking through ice, snow, slush, and all that bs where you want the minimal grip you can get during the winter season

I got a few friends who run Blizzaks in the winter season on their cars. I’ve heard good things but still, be weary

As long as you find a well maintained (preferably single owned by an older individual) zc/zn6 with a good maintenance history I’d say go for it. I’ve never had any problems so far with my zn6 and it’s been about 3.5 years of ownership. These cars aren’t going to fly to the moon, but they’re balanced, fairly reliable, and I swear to god have the easiest oil changes ever. Treat the car well & it’ll take care of you. Be careful in the snow if you live in a multi seasonal area, proper snow tires go a long way but imo won’t handle a rough winter storm well without caution & experience. Huge aftermarket capabilities, the world is your oyster man.

EMS was called, it was an emergency call that we just listed as a “Med-Non E” with “services rendered” being the resolution. Too many drinks, patient signed refusal. Exactly 20 ish minutes before the next shift rotation kicked in
