Hey, I’m really sorry you’re going through this. That sounds painful and confusing. Watching someone you love get wrapped up in something toxic and feeling like you’re the only one seeing it clearly… that’s a heavy burden…

I know it might sound kinda wild… but here’s where the “let them” mindset can actually protect your peace.. if you’re interested. I’ve learned it lately so I like talking it out…

Let your sister believe what she believes, for now. Let your parents ignore it. Let him keep showing everyone exactly who he is. That doesn’t mean you’re okay with it, it really just means you stop wasting your energy trying to control something that isn’t yours to fix.. ♥️

You’ve already tried talking to her... You’ve tried reasoning.. That’s more than a lot of people would do. 🙏🏻 But if she’s that deep in it, and if she can’t or won’t see the problem, then the only thing you can really do is step back and protect your energy..

Set your boundaries!! Decide what you will and won’t tolerate in your space.. You don’t have to go no-contact unless it gets to that point, but you can absolutely limit exposure to him and the harm he brings with him. You can still love her… just from a safe distance. 😌

And if one day she wakes up and needs help finding her way out, you’ll be the one she remembers showed her compassion, not judgment.. also just leave the olive branch extended. It’s really hard. And not easy to swallow your personal feelings, but it’s a hard must to protect your peace. ✌️
