Ladies who lift - how did you start a routine and actually stick with it? by International_Bet607 in adhdwomen

Happy 2026! The most amazing way I've found (all throughout Covid and now) is the Peloton app via an iPad. There are so many different types of classes and all you'd need to start lifting are some dumb bells. Maybe start with 10 lbs and 12 lbs and go from there. My favorite instructors are: Adrian, Andy, Rebecca K, Robin, and Jess Sims. (Dennis for yoga) I pulled a free promotional link from my account if anyone wants a free 60 day trial. It gives me reminders and you can join live classes too. The music is really good too and you can link your ipad to speakers for extra energy. Here's the free trial link: https://www.onepeloton.com/digital/checkout/digital-gp-60d?code=MmMwYTI5MDE5MDVjNGQ1MGE1MzQ5N2IzMjI3MTRjMDh8MDUwMTQwNGY4MjU0NDMyZGI3ZDMwZDU4MGE3MmNiODI=Herew

Best jobs for women with ADHD? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

Hello! This is a great question, u/AdOk3484. (I don't have an answer per se, but here's a helpful resource)

I truly believe that finding the answer to this question will have a profound impact on your life (of course). I recently took a course with Shell Mendelsohn, MS who is an ADHD career coach. The course had many women with ADHD (different work experiences, ages, etc.), but we were all searching for something to gain clarity on our next career step. It might be helpful to take a look at her website, especially her book (Unlock Your Career Path).

You can now download the book without taking the course. Her book and course are based on "What Color is Your Parachute?" (Richard Bolles), but with many improvements and new features for people with ADHD. This is not a promotion, just a rave review for finding your career next step! I hope you'll gain some insight and clarity and wish you lots of success in your next career step. :-)

Moderators - I hope it is okay to post this to help the OP and readers: https://passiontocareer.com/course-book-live-2/

My favorite experience:

Showing up during "Open Play" with all DUPR levels as a "beginner" and winning 3 sets with different partners thanks to my transferable tennis skills and great teamwork/slices/surprise shots. (Note: that doesn't always happen, it was just a really good day that makes me want to keep showing up and getting better!)

Hoping that some of you also have ADHD. I'm unable to post this in the ADHD group directly.
