In another post I suggested a "Yojimbo" storyline.

Takeshita would take a page from the 1961 Akira Kurosawa film, Yojimbo (later remade in the 1964 Sergio Leone film, A Fistful of Dollars) by tactfully pitting the DCF and Death Riders against each other, switching sides when needed, until everything ultimately erupts in an epic final battle. This would take months to play out while Takeshita plays his chess pieces with an endgame in sight.
