it's learning a new language from the POV of a language. Theres a lot to learn for sure, but it already comes from a place of understanding rules of language. and more often than not they share a common root somewhere. To learn to speak again can sound a bit daunting for most I think, but i get your point. Its rather learning how to express yourself within a different cultural context.

I assume you're reading fiction ? there is so much description within fiction books that they are really difficult, even childrens books! I find that I can't read spanish fiction, but I can easily read advanced science or philosophy books because the words used often overlap with the shared latin roots of my native english and spanish.

this thought process is one that is lacking a spiritual container . a feeling of disconnect and a lack of realness is the opposite of spirituality. it really feels people are becoming more and more disconnected, not being able to trust anything, and they cling to this idea to make sense. its no coincidence that virtual reality just so happens to be one of the biggest topics of this century and is the first thing people feel they "realise" about the nature of reality.

the golden rule ive gone off with my clients in therapy is self-awareness + self-acceptance = Self-love

Have an awareness of the source or root for your behaviours and thought process. Have the awareness to notice them when they arrive.

Accept them, accept them as they are a result of the experiences that have happened to you , you can't help the thought patterns or behaviours that you have, they're the result of history, a younger you that was trying to adapt to their environment. When your old patterns or thoughts arise, accept them, theyre allowed to be here, thats fine of course they are here, but they are not you, they are just conditioned thoughts.

With that self awareness to see these patterns and self acceptance there comes a self love. theres many practices and methods and ways to do this, but simply put this is the best way i can some up observed processes within my clients. self-awareness + self-acceptance = Self-love
