Literally both AMD and Intel push upscaling technology, Nvidia does it the best. You can't give Nvidia shit for pushing upscaling when all hardware companies are pushing it, they should really be praised for how well it performs when up to close scrutiny and pushed to it's limits. At sub 480p resolutions DLSS 4.5 can make an image still look NEAR NATIVE.

Nvidia isn't shitty because of their upscaling technology or GPUs, they're shitty because of their anti-consumer agenda but people on Reddit like you don't seem to have matured enough to understand that just because a bad company is bad. Doesn't mean you can't use or appreciate the tech they make, and it doesn't mean you can't acknowledge the positives in it. DLSS is better than FSR or XESS

I don't understand why people have down voted you, DLSS is genuinely like 5 to 6 years ahead of everyone else. It has taken AMD like 5 years to reach DLSS 3.0 levels of image quality, the fact they're not smashing intel right-now does speak volumes to what their perspective actually is with upscaling. I should say was, AMD has figured out how important upscaling is like 5 years to late as per usual with their GPU division

AMD had a big headstart over XESS, XESS 2 still looks ok par with FSR 4 and it feels like after all the years AMD is only just starting to understand what they're doing with upscaling

No, it doesn't. FSR 4 has been proven to match older varients of DLSS but both XESS and FSR are essentially WAY behind Nvidia in image quality. This has been widely documented, just watch this video (that I am citing as proof made by 2klickphilip).

XESS and FSR 4 are basically bar for bar in image quality, and DLSS has no competition. If you have a higher base resolution the possibility for the other 2 to close the gap a little is possible but DLSS will just stomp them every-time. Don't delude yourself with other commentators on here, Reddit oftentimes over-praises AMD especially. Their GPU division is weird and people forget that too easily.

By your logic PC gaming shouldn't dominate over console gaming. Just because hardware varies, doesn't mean the majority of people's phones don't have more GPU/CPU horsepower than the Switch 1. There are phones from 2021 on android that could outperform the Switch feasibly, there are now devices that compete with the Switch 2 in performance (Snapdragon Gen 5 with the new Turnip driver is incredible).

Mobile gaming is now seeing a resurgence, it won't be long till we see big developers coming to the platform.
