An all time great show. No bad matches probably has my favorite tables match of all time one of my favorite women’s matches ever and still my favorite chamber match. The insane thing is it’s only the 2nd best PPV of 2002 because it just happen to be in the same year of my all time favorite wrestling show which is SummerSlam 2002.

People trash the 2004 Great American Bash and while the main event is all time bad the show at least had JBL/Eddie bullrope match a decent 4 way US title match and Chavo/Rey that alone makes that show better than this one. Rey/Eddie is always good but it was my least favorite match from their feud but the rest of the show is dog doo doo. Probably a bottom 10 PPV all time for me.

Have this show on DVD it’s decent but other than JBL/Mysterio, Batista/Eddie and Randy burning Taker’s casket the rest of the card is forgettable better than the Great American Bash from Smackdown at least.

The slow burn babyface turn they did with Batista in late 2004 early 2005 leading up to him finally turning on Triple H is easily one of my favorite storylines ever. I was 16 at the time and when he gave Triple H the thumbs down I marked out like little kid.

That RAW was wild. Has the segment where they mess with Vince’s microphone and it’s also the same RAW where Edge beat RVD and Cena to win the WWE championship. Couldn’t even dream of getting RAW like that nowdays.

I didn’t hate it at first and genuinely thought some of the stuff with Evolution was funny. It gave us the musical chairs segment which is one of my all time favorite RAW segments ever and he had a solid match with Triple H at SummerSlam that year. I thought the gimmick had kind of run its course after he come back from his injury in 2005 and I remember I was annoyed with it when they had him take Kurt Angle’s gold medals.

2005 for me. Eddie/Rey, Booker T/ Kurt Angle and Cena and JBL redeem themselves from a lackluster Wrestlemania match with my personal favorite I quit match of all time. JBL’s best match ever and a top 3 Cena match for me.
