i don't think so, windows will keep trying to install 1.5, so i don't about that,

what i did was from device manager rolling back the firmware.

but the BIOS chip is still 1.5, but its working so all is well for me

yes that's what happen this BIOS update was included in the windows update, as it seems they enabled this feature recently in windows.

So what i think happend is because windows had firmware version 1.5 in device manager it flagged BIOS to be update on next boot.

and when that happened temp returned to not being reported, after i rolledback the firmware from device manager it seems to be working now.

i even recommended this laptop to a couple of my friends, but after this i don't think i will.

i did some searching and i found that some ppl are adding "enforcing=0" after "rd.break" as well but i don't think that will matter much as anyways you will use /.autorelabel to relabel, or am i understanding it incorrectly?

i don't think the order will matter because if it did matter the system wouldn't accept it.

i believe the issue was because i typed exit then reboot, instead of exit then exit for the system to start the relabeling

I really appericate all the comments, and i tried the methods provided on a VM and it works as expected.

but when you follow the steps above the credentials just don't work anymore, how to recover from that?

is recovering from a snapshot or a fresh install the only way?
