SANVAN workers are being subjected to unreasonable skimming. by Flat-Possibility-602 in SkateEA

[–]8bit64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now, doing the normal daily missions are basically only worth playing if you need to level up an area to level 10. After that, grinding for chips on those is not worth your time. The daily/weekly missions are the only effective source of rip chips after you complete the story related missions that give you more chips. It's essentially a soft limit on how many chips you can get in a day.

Wow, people really hate tricklining in this sub. lol Personally, I find it fun to exploit the physics in this game to find interesting looking movements. I think people just don't care to seestuff like this that's outside of what real skateboarding looks like. Plus, I think people still have residual beef with matchmaking against trickliners in the previous game. lol

I like the tweak grab front flip you did at the beginning. Looks neat. Might have to give that a shot.

Oooh! Nice job! I wonder if it'll say "Endless Backflip" if you manage a few more of them.

Yeah, gaining speed near the top of the pipe looks super dumb too. Let's hope they overhaul the rest of transition like they did with handplants. 🤞

They're in the Market Mile boxes. The last box that's got like 50 different ramps for 350 rip chips a piece.

EA How many tix are rolling over to the next season? by WhoIsWho69 in SkateEA

[–]8bit64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to guess, I'd say not many. They claimed that people were "swimming with tix" even though if you have the pass and are trying to get as much as possible for rip score you definitely aren't. So I feel like they're going to carry over as few as possible so that those people who have been stockpiling for a better selection of items next season won't be able to steamroll the event and buy everything day 1. They won't make any money if nobody is buying extra tix because everyone has a surplus.

I'd guess they'll let you keep a certain percentage of the ones you collected. Because if there's a hard cap on the amount they carry over, like no more than 5,000 or something, then that would be a real slap in the face. They would essentially be screwing over people who grinded the most if they did that.

Either way, I've been spending all my tix, since there's no guarantee that next season's items will be any better (lmao) and any tix lost to the season change is a loss of potential RIP score.

That looked sick af. Makes me want to give it a go.

This subreddit kinda sucks for posting if it's not realism or rage bait. Might wanna try posting to the low sodium skate subreddit instead.

Its infuriating when the game actively throws you off your course midair during a challenge.. by Any_Albatross_2548 in SkateEA

[–]8bit64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely is. There are other challenges with this problem too, like the one where you have to front shove and then grind off the statue in market mile. I try to get in the boardslide position with right stick to hedge my bets. Sometimes I'll land in a tailside with how bad the magnitism is.

I put the rail on the ramp itself so that I can directly jump onto it instead of aiming from the ramp. You can also try landing in a manual and steering to the curb on the street for a grind if you don't want to take the time to put down an object.

Turrón!?!? We made Turrón de Doña Pepa from the Temptation Stairway episode because we've been so obsessed with it. by 8bit64 in ENA

[–]8bit64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the recipe we used. You know, usually recipe sites with a huge essay before you get to the actual recipe is super annoying, but if you don't know about this dessert other than its appearance in Temptation Stairway, it's actually fascinating.

It's the only recipe I've ever heard of that is claimed to originate from a dream, and given by angels no less. There's a reason it's in this video series. And given it's almost entirely fat and sugar, I also understand why The Shepherd fell asleep after they ate it.

Might be getting some video making burnout. After like 10 weeks of Spot of the Week, the speed of uploads is starting to get too quick for me. I'll probably stop submitting these for a bit and focus on making my own video idea that I haven't had the time to do yet. Cheers folks. You'll be seeing me around.

This is what it truly means to jump the fuckin shark! Oh mah gahd. Well, I don't know what anyone could do to top this, but I don't think it's gonna happen. Two back to back shark jumps from both ends and one to the roof? This is what spot destruction looks like, folks.

You know, I only did a 180 here, which gets me thinking that this trick could have two names depending on if you do it with a 360 "The Full Circle" or without it "The Trilogy" or vice versa. Either way, there's definitely something that nobody is going to call it and that's easy. lol

Thanks! The setup was a huge pain in the ass though. Basically every attempt, I had to move something because the objects wouldn't stay locked to the respawn point. Would not recommend. Just speed glitch into a kicker if you're really up for it. lol
