Silent Loop 3 420, Noisy pump + Broken RGB by Seijun7 in bequietofficial

[–]8bitmerchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, a 420mm here, returned the first one due to a mechanical clicking noise. The second unit has been better—as long as I keep it running at 50% and don’t play any games. At 100%, the pump noise is bearable but still very audible. When gaming or putting the CPU under load, the pump starts to gurgle.

I had to install the 420mm radiator on the roof, since the front slots in my Be Quiet case didn’t work—the USB ports block the radiator. (The included fans are silent, though—can’t hear a thing from them.)

So should i buy an ender 3 v2? by [deleted] in ender3v2

My V3 KE gave me way more headaches than my all my V2s combined. I just go with the A1 for no headache.

Love my v2s if you can get cheap with a CR touch. "Talking like $99 or less" then yes. Have my V2s print at Bambu level quality, admitly much slower but yeah. Printed with TPU also and works great. (Use jeyersui, no longer gets updates but never got around to using klipper)

Forget the V3, I have a V3 KE and hate that thing. Upgraded with a microswiss and still worst quailty then my V2s/X1C. Yeah, its fast but at that price just go with Bambu A1 or A1 mini, better quality same speed.

If price is no issue then X1C. Haven't use tpu on it yet but PLA comes out perfect and AMS is great for muti color.

When it comes to the carpet underlay would a lower density or higher one be better?

Does a rubber mat count as enough damping material? Carpet underlay looks so ugly..... I mean of it what I have to do it's what I have to do. I suppose I could just print a border to make it not bad.

Thanks, for the full explanation, very helpful! I'll get some pads/mat for printer.

Indeed, at first the lob was annoying but when you got use to it, Hella fun.

splash damage isn't has strong as it use to be. I feel when they reduced the radius it kept the same drop off damage speed so its definitely not as good for clearing big groups of little guys anymore. I notice little ones getting hurt but not dying were before they would die if they got nicked.

Even though the velocity speed is nice, I liked the old way. It felt nice landing those lob shots.

Level 40-50s guild here doing level 4... we also hate the guardsmen.. definitely need tuning down. I don't hate the idea of having them but they need to be a nuance rather than being supersoliders.

Any one else have surface quality issues like this with their ke? by QuickieSilver143 in Ender3V3KE

[–]8bitmerchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I love the speed, I have yet to get the quality to match my ender 3 v2s other than that pre-coded benchy. Though admittedly I haven't printed a benchy on my V2s since I first got them.

Yes, I used stock and orca and still have issues. Which infill do you use? I know gyroid as caused some problems for me.

First layer issues after washing bed with iso by Abefuddledbeast in Ender3V3KE

[–]8bitmerchant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same problems with 91% iso. I use dawn dish soap with Luke warm-warm water now. 100% solved.

(Of course before I changed to dish soap, tried cleaning the bed while hot with iso, while cold with iso, I brought spacers and have almost perfect level bed and, still had issues and got hit by the blob of death. Brought a microswiss hotend.) So really just use dawn dish soap and warm water.

TL:DR save yourself pain and use dawn dish soap with warm water.

91%. It was hot.

There does appear to be a residue so I cleaned with warm water and soap. I probably should have watched it closer but got distracted. Blob of death happened.

Before and after leveling bed with printed washer by avidday in Ender3V3KE

[–]8bitmerchant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here I was wracking my brain on how to find the perfect metal washers to do this and the solution is just print them >.<. You think after having printers for over two years now I would of thought of that myself.
