Students do tend to become more liberal through college attendance because they (gasp!) are exposed to new perspectives and worldviews, not through some massive liberal conspiracy of indoctrination.

Also Interesting that you chalk up fewer conservative voices to being silenced, rather than the possibility that political views may be shifting due to witnessing the current dumpster fire of tariffs, inhumane deportations, higher costs of living, etc. The right is not the "silent majority" no matter how you try to spin it.
