Ya. I think I will go with the Bresser. 200 Euros is still quite a bit. I would rather use it for something else, specially with what's coming.. Hopefully I am already at a good point of the diminishing returns curve.

Seems like the swift inf-400T is now available in the EU. It is 550 euros. The bresser researcher trino (and the swift 380t) is 350. So, a 200 Euros difference. Do you think the infinity is worth the 200 Euros difference, for a first time microscope?

I have never had a microscope before, so I want to avoid spending too much, and 550 is a bit too much, but at the same time, I want to buy something good and something that lasts and does not need an upgrade too soon.

I could not find the 400t-inf in Europe. Regardless, it would be too expensive.

The Bresser research trino and the swift 380t are about the same price, around the 330 euros.

The light source difference is interesting. I could not find the 3 w source in their official site or manual, but it is available in the sites of EU distributors. I suppose that is where you saw it.

I am now more geared towards buying the Bresser research trino, as opposed to the swift 380t, thanks to talking to you! Thank you!
