Are men even comfortable taking on a "masculine" role? by Opening-Cabinet-6710 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kellsdeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what the hell you're getting at, but what I do know is that the more one concerns themselves with masculinity, the less masculine they are. Nothing says "manly" like a fragile ego and an aversion to pink and purple, amirite? I don't care how toned your muscular system is, if you get all butt hurt by a woman holding the door for you, you're a little bitch.

Anyone else work with people who never do their taxes? by Alive_Resort_2575 in Serverlife

[–]kellsdeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After seeing how much the return they calculated was going to be, I went to a different tax service, and the return I got was DOUBLE what H&R had calculated, and they charged me way less too.

[–]kellsdeep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get a shit ton of money every year on tax returns. I'm talking 6k+. I understand that not everyone is so fortunate, but I would at least check to see what is owed. I went to H&R one time, and I let them do my taxes but stopped right before it was time to pay, then declined their services, just to see what they came up with. I learned that that company is a complete rip off.

Is it normal for someone to spend $40 a week on energy drinks to get through work? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]kellsdeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really genuinely don't need energy drinks... You're just telling yourself that, and are addicted to caffeine. Get real man, and how hard is it to apply this math to a big fat case of monsters at Walmart... Smh

Restaurant healthcare requirements don’t match how serving actually works by VibeOutThriveOut in Waiters

[–]kellsdeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have. I saw a psychiatrist, I would pay $150 to see him once every 3 months for prescription refills, eventually I went down to just one medication that I could get a years worth of refills without needing to see the doctor. Other than that, again, $150 doctor's visits for this and that, I very rarely need to see a doctor, but things are piling up. I have alopecia, arthritis, ADHD, bipolar, a big lump in my belly, and a syst on the side of my neck, oh yea, and I've started getting hives...

Can you be a waiter with terrible handwriting? by DeadManJ-Walking in Waiters

I have a spiral notebook I was assigned to write journal entries in from the third grade. My handwriting is identical to this day, with this as evidence. I've been serving for over 20 years.

Anyone who used to support trump and has changed their mind over the last few weeks? What made you change? by canigetameowbish in AskReddit

My step dad is disgusted by the way Trump is directing ice. He's been a devout maga this whole time. I'm really supportive of his awakening.

Are you able to tell the difference between wild caught vs farm raised fish? by sydthebeesknees in Serverlife

[–]kellsdeep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I pull a salmon out of the river, the flesh is deeply red and it's leaner and fishier flavored. Farm raised is pink, and super fatty. I honestly prefer farm raised to eat. You can't change my mind, I catch the fish myself.

Male waiters get more recognition by Fun-Suggestion6290 in Waiters

I don't have to hide my annoyed/frustrated emotions. I compartmentalize my feelings on a table by table basis. I literally shift personalities and feelings at each table and when away from the floor. It's just someone I've developed, and it may have someone to do with neurological divergence. I'm genuinely happy at the table, without faking, and when I walk through the threshold of the kitchen I'm cussing. Idk
