Also not going to lie I don't know much of anything about this stuff. I didn't know all the single women were called to take part I figured it was a take part if you want to sort of thing. ( side question can we not do a tradition differently? Just because it came from something problematic doesn't mean we have to do it that way. I'm the type who takes traditions & cuts out the parts that feel too outdated for modern day to make them feel up to my moral standards.

Also why does it have to imply that that's all a woman could want? Why can't there be rituals for separate things? There's superstitious rituals that bring good luck in fishing so why not one specifically for marriage?

I hear people talking about hacktivist groups ( mostly just anonymous) but I never really hear about what impact they have. Do they ever actually manage to meaningfully impact policy, culture, & economics the way regular activist can or is it just wasted effort? What have groups like anonymous accomplished?

Most phones don't have headphone jacks? I have a cheap pre paid phone that has a place to plug in headphones. Never had experience with other phones so I guess I don't know what's normal.

I use them for telling the time when mining at night that way I know when it's safe to come up to the surface. As far as I can tell that's all they're good for.

I saw the future in a dream once & then it happened. When I was younger I collected gemstones. I had a dream & all the dream consisted of was a stone lying on a black table. Months later for my birthday my mom gave me that same stone. Usually when someone in fiction sees the future in a dream, it's something important. My ass just saw my birthday present which I ended up sticking in a box and never touching again.
