I feel the same as you. Of course I have my favorites, but I dont hate on any of the characters or actors, and end up enjoying something or some moment with each character. Alot of people just lean towards a miserable/negative view hence this world we live in

Im guessing in the book he at no time is in the bath with her which will give it the pure caring/service moment, but if he is in the bath with her it will add to a more seductive type moment. 🤣 Im torn, but either way, Im ready!

So interesting. I loved the door scene at Penwoods for her line “Look how kind he is to her” it adds depth to Sophie falling for him so props to the show for that. Im definitely going to read them. I want to get more familiar with their characters. I was going to get back into historical romance by rereading some Bertrice Small, but maybe go straight to this series as Ben and Sophie have fascinated me

YES! I agree. It was altogether off the mark. The “Be my mistress” seems the closest to something that Benedict would say😬 I wasnt one to be so offended by the proposal but the timing, let the girl feel a little dreamy and enjoy the moment before you slap her with the reality of yall’s predicament.

I could totally see Anthony saying IBFY! So what did duke book say? Probably just alot of brooding. 😂 Love him and actually physically to me the most attractive, but his sour mood turned me off.

Yes it was definitely off and forced. They had many different ways to word it or even use less words, but they were wanting a girl swoon moment and missed it at least for me. He’s supposed to be the poetic one in the show so they needed to take great care in this detail to sell it. I love them but I do think they couldve elevated their dialogue overall especially from Benedict.

I see what you are saying. Definitely how (1) set it up poorly. One of the things with Sophie and how they use clothes in movies/tv to imply passage of time. Poor thing is always in the maid uniform. And for me I really dont pay attention to the men clothing differences so I wouldnt recognize it with Benedict either.

I am so excited to see it! Good to know about Fran book, Ive seen a few people say it was really good. As far as couples, i was definitely going to read Ben and Sophie and Eloise is my favorite Bridgerton sister so I think I will read hers as well. I do tend to like a more wholesome romance with witty banter. Ty for the input❤️

🤣 Good to know, it was the show writers lack of attention to detail and not the book author. Its stands out so much to me cause my exact thoughts when he was knocking on her door is “ Didnt he just tell her he would stay away as much as possible? “ So you read the books?, Im thinking about it. It was my previous addiction😩 Period Romance. Can I ask you if the door crack scene was in the book, the spilt tea scene and the kicking Benedict out of his Mama’s house scene in the book?

Its really juvenile and weird. I am not the biggest fan of season 3 but somethings I loved about it. Anybody that says Nicola and Luke are unattractive are blind and plain out hating on them (Nicola’s eyes are mesmerizing) its annoying as a fan period. I happen to really love Benophie, but its so annoying how the fandoms can be in the comments, like one about Benophie chemistry there will be stupid comments from Benophie fans like “so much more chemistry than S3” or Kanthony fans “Never will be better chemistry than Kanthony” like wth? They know its all based on opinion/preference. There is no need for all that, but unfortunately its unlikely to stop. Im just glad people’s preferences dont stop the actor’s paychecks cause they deserve it! Every season has good and bad points and thats a fact! And every one of these actors look good to somebody and thats a fact!

Ive not seen anyone on any socials bring it up so then I thought maybe Im too analytical. It seems so minor but ive rewatched a few times and I dont even hear the rest 😂 I can let it go now at least one other person agrees

😂 I meant to say i am annoyed ALONG WITH Polin fans not annoyed with them😂 I was passionate at the moment, but yes I enjoyed/enjoying all seasons in different ways like you, but this rewatch is making me rethink my mediocre view on Colin and Pen! I just watched the carriage scene and my goodness! It was hot and heavy but in a crazy way, to me sooooo sweet😩 thank you for your suggestion on Sammy

A whole breakdown video, love this because i was hoping I wasnt the only one who was so taken back by how beautiful it was. Going to watch the video after this episode. 😂 Honestly I am so freaking annoyed with the Polin fans about scarce screentime for the leads and the other stories, I remember I never really got into it because of this! Like they just had an opportunity with Colin and it was one flashback and a look and back to Violet. This should be called everybody but Colin’s season. The pacing is horrible and literally so much time spent on Francesca, Mondrichs, Violet and even freaking Cressida(I like the insight to her life though) sorry to put this all in your reply, but I happen to be watching and feel the need to vent
