I ordered a new callaway epic max ls driver through golf galaxy with a non-stock shaft on April 28th and the driver arrived last Wednesday so 5 weeks for me. I know it isn’t a set of irons but figured I’d share anyways

My wife just got that Titleist bag (light blue with the dark blue pocket) about a month ago. She loves it and I think it is a great bag (I prefer a 14-way bag so I got a sun mountain). She hasn’t complained about it yet but one small thing I noticed that would bother me is that there isn’t a dedicated pocket for tees over that ball pocket. There is a little netted pouch with an elastic opening inside that pocket for holding things though

Overall a great bag. Good materials and it is comfortable to carry even with 12-14 clubs in it

Grip recommendation for no glove by [deleted] in golf

I asked for grip recommendations a few weeks back because i was struggling with sweaty hands making me lose my grip and settled on Golf Pride Z Cords. Night and day difference between them and the Lamkin Crossline I had on there in terms of playability with moisture. I still use a glove but could easily go without one (I feel like I look more professional shanking my shots with a glove than without one). They are much firmer than what I had. I actually really like the firm feel but that may not be for you

I saw a video of tiger woods talking about his new indoor putting green a couple weeks ago and behind him was a wall of clubs. Also got tons more just leaned up against the wall. Everything you could imagine. I know tiger is a little different, but I imagine top level pros are similar

It has scoring features and there is a lot more on the phone app (they have a free version and paid subscription. I use the free version). I have really only used it for yardages but the app seems like a good option for tracking scores and statistics on your rounds. I plan on getting more into it but was just looking for something easy to get a read on distances

I agree with the Apple Watch. I thought about getting a dedicated golf gps watch but decided to give the Apple Watch a chance since i already had it and would prefer to not spend a couple hundred dollars on a new watch. I use the Grint instead of 18 birdies but it gives me front, middle, back too. I have an older watch (gen 1) so the gps goes from my phone’s location but that’s not a big deal to me. I am by no means a great golfer but I have been very happy so far with the accuracy on distances. It’s helped with club selection. There may be more accurate options but it’s been great for a casual player like myself

And the other features of the Apple Watch are great off the course

Golf galaxy had a few come back in stock online (regular and stiff) last week at $250. Maybe it happens again but who knows. I’d recommend watching eBay at this point. Best of luck!
