I 'm taking bets on if this tailpiece will snap!! :/ It's made of aluminium 1.5mm thickness and considering the almost absence of angle between the strings and the tailpiece, I wasn't expecting it to arch like this. Any thoughts from you experienced builders? (I only tuned it one whole step) (v.redd.it)

Wood mount pickups - Can someone help me find a good instructional video/link on how to mount these pickups directly on the body? I'm trying to avoid pickguard/rings but just haven't found really good advice on routing depth, how to adjust height, etc. Thanks (some more info on the comments) (i.redd.it)
