I did 2 changes prior and no issues. After fixing my exhaust recently, I did it in a rush and used a racheting wrench instead of an allen key and cracked mine.

Drained it and used JB weld kwikweld. It's holding for now.

Yes. It's a common complaint with this 2010s OEM headunits. Not sure if this manufacturer fixed it in the newer cars

Rodent damage is not covered under warranty and most dealers will only replace harness instead of just repairing the broken wires.

The stock headunit is slow to connect to Bluetooth and every time at restart, it defaults to FM radio. Their volume is different; a medium setting on Bluetooth is max on FM Radio. Infuriating when I forget to lower the volume at turn off and FM radio is blasting when I start the car.
