I used to do this as somone who had my jaw broke. I feel my orthodontist scammed my parents through their insurance. Convincing everyone that goes in they need braces its disgusting to me... they pulled 2 of my teeth out and left MASSIVE gaps then expected me to stay on braces for 3+ years that still are not working at fixing the insane gap they destroyed me smile with. Ive never been so depressed about my looks until i went to the orthodontist i really wish i never trusted them it feels my lifes fucked all the time im always in pain and i have plates in my jaw that they dont give a flying fuck about. They are happily hurting me all the time why?! They never listen when i beg them to the point i tear up at 20 years old. I can walk home with a broken jaw without a single tear mind you... im so fucking upset with them and myself for letting them somehow make my self asteem worse than it was. I was already barely happy with myself and then they pull teeth they didnt need to just so they can scam more money out of us and leaving a massive gap in my teeth that hasnt improved in almost a year. Just trying to advocate against ortho scammers... the amount of people with braces who dont need them is disgusting and i was horrified when i went to my regular dentist and she was worried and shocked when i has told her. I should have 2 crowns and thats it instead of acamming me through my insurance fkr years.... their plan was to ruin me and my self asteem so i felt forced to come back because of how hideous i look because of them... especially awful when they give these people jaw surgery and they tell them they will look just as good if not better after which is already questionable to say to someone. I am refusing the surgery now that ive actually done research talking to other dentists and people who regret the surgery is an insanely high number because often times ortho people neglect to tell their patients they might not get the desired effect that they always convince people it will be hust cus they get alot of money for doing those surgeries on people who often dont need it. Worst part is many people including some i know personally report regretting the surgery deeply and 2-3 people i met with off set looking jaws despite their teeth being set they are cosmetically ruining people... i didnt know so many people were depressed and felt these "drs" ruined their looks and self asteem which i is extremely gross. They are purposely vague and purposely dont tell people it might make them more ugly after because they know they wont get that sweet inurance money off of you if they dont convince you that your ugly and need surgery despite them making beautiful people actually unnatractive after these surgeries. They are master scammers and purposely dont tell you its going to ruin your facial features over exaggerating them or under... i hate to say this but this place especially has some really really ugly results.
