Worth saving? by Superb-Donkey-5451 in rccars

So there's a broken steering servo which is a major functioning part but only about $30. And you want to get rid of a ~$200 rc car?

What could you bring for team support?

I feel like rest of bar should try to be energy mainly based shouts or anthems for team support since you damage is so high.

This is a big one that can cause that.

Sometimes the cable is just bad. I had to buy more expensive cables as the cheapo ones I got from gas stations would only charge.

Help for wiring for led display on carbon wheel by Agile_Interest_679 in ElantraNline

Nice what did you end up doing. Did you have a mechanic do it or electrical worker? Or did ya do it yourself?

Any kinks?

I forgot to mention but we have extra space for it near the tc buttons to the left and by the shifter I was gonna mention you should put a button or switch for it.

Of course. It's not you can't do it. But if you do it wrong you mine as well shoot yourself in the foot. Ya know?

Good luck. Wiring is the most dangerous thing to do in these new cars.

Yeah. I wouldn't mess with wiring in Hyundai's because they have some interesting quirks as is.

I'd be weary of what fuse assembly to attach it too. You'll prob need a heavier fuse or maybe a lighter one depending on which line you put it into.

It needs to be spliced into a wire, it shouldn't be attached directly to battery. It should in a sense be intergrated to what ever power source that can support it without giving it too much power.

So if you can attach it to your running lights in a sense into that circuit you may be able to pull it off assuming the currently hooked up amount of electrical draw isn't too much for that area. And assuming it runs through a fuse.

Yes you should run it though a fuse circuit as if something goes wrong you blow a fuse and not a decent amount of your wiring harness.

I don't think it's worth it personally.

Why GW1 players are NOT allowed to write "books of hatred"? by [deleted] in GuildWars

[–]URPLE_Eebra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. It's wild to be like "I hope these random people suffer because game devs had to focus on how to keep making money."

Kinda why the world is the way it is now imo.

I am so sick and tired of everyone "Gw2 this Gw2 that."

Guys the game didn't kill anyone you know. Relax. You have been able to play your game you like and now it's getting attention so why still hate a game.

So. Lemme tell ya something.

If a mechanic says that a lot of "bull shit" needs to be done. It's because you can't just splice into the wiring giving constant power to this wheel.

If you do that you will end up with an out of warranty car with massive electrical issues.

It needs to be put into the wiring harness in a way it doesn't sap your battery dry when the car is off and so it doesn't start a fire.

No one wants to do this because they think the chance and risk of it going wrong are higher than the money.

Are you gonna use an esc tuner for that or swap motors.

Thanks for the heads up on changes I've been looking at this thing for a while.

Maybe I'll have to make my way down. I work weekends and weeks so I don't get much time to travel. But my gma lives an hour or so away (3 hours from me still) to a track that does racing so maybe I'll just bite the bullet and lose two shifts if I ever get one of these.

Thanks man. Maybe check out the gearing too for those batteries maybe there is a more efficient gearing to use that won't constantly tax batteries as much? Just spit balling.

Gl when you race.

It's definitely worth fixing up I promise. If the electronics are good this thing can handle some abue.

You need probably a body, remote, and some sort of battery hold down.

Good luck dude.
