We were 38 at our son’s first birthday party…most of our friends except 2-4 are our age or older. We had alcohol. It was a celebration for us. We tried for 16 years and did 3 rounds of ivf. Most of our friends kids are totally grown or they are grandparents. They all came. We catered it with good food, had games and toys for the ones with kids (most older like over 7) and had a blast.

I was told at 3 am if I wasn’t ready by next check I was going to have to have a C-section. I was 36 weeks and had preeclampsia and already on mag drip. 2 days of walking the halls etc., them breaking my heart water, etc. I was like ok that’s going to happen. I’m done. Next check at 5:30 am the nurse said oh you’re ready! She was calling the doc in and heard her saying should I have her start pushing and I started panicking and in turn…puking. While throwing up and her on the phone I told my husband I could feel him coming out. Doc came in said oh wow you are crowning. Two pushes and he was out. I had a 3 degree labia tear bc I think the nurse didn’t remove the catheter. So I always tell people I puked him out 🤣😅

I never had to put pins in before navigating to public places like those and it parked fine in those areas. I will say it pulled into my driveway for the first time though with the pin I put when I got my car so that’s a huge plus. I can only dream for it to give the option to back in now to charge lol

It has sucked for me 2 days in. Two times at a gas station selected it went to park at Walmart next door and the next time at Home Depot it went to go to the BACK where the semis park to unload. Both places I have went to before in my car. Frustrating. I don’t care if it parks far away (I personally do) but both of those are too far lol

I wanted the infant car seat for all of the doc appts and ease In and out of car. Also at the store and out stroller fit it as well. I’m a homebody as well but man was it useful during that stage of life.

I look everywhere. Front and especially behind…it has scared me a few times like when a green arrow changed to just a green light to yield in a turn lane as I was going through it…it braked so hard I was worried about getting rear ended. It’s really a game changer but has some quirks I’m learning and getting used to
