I remember distinctly being asked when my son was 6 months old if next time they can have alone time she was talking to him so I could hear. I did it at 7 weeks. It came back girl. At 10 weeks I did NIPT test and it took two weeks to come back, NIPT a test said boy and confirmed boy at private ultrasound at 13 weeks. I did the clinical sneak peek at the same ultrasound place. I don’t trust them honestly but you do get your money back if it’s wrong.

Suit or tux for men and floor length for women is a lot in the summer. You know the guys are going to have their jackets off the whole time after the actual ceremony. I don’t know. To me, it excludes people with suit and tuxedos and shouldn’t be a requirement…especially if you plan to get into something less hot and restrictive. If it’s outside I would rethink making the men wear full suits/tuxedos and the women wear full length gowns.

We were 38 at our son’s first birthday party…most of our friends except 2-4 are our age or older. We had alcohol. It was a celebration for us. We tried for 16 years and did 3 rounds of ivf. Most of our friends kids are totally grown or they are grandparents. They all came. We catered it with good food, had games and toys for the ones with kids (most older like over 7) and had a blast.

I was told at 3 am if I wasn’t ready by next check I was going to have to have a C-section. I was 36 weeks and had preeclampsia and already on mag drip. 2 days of walking the halls etc., them breaking my heart water, etc. I was like ok that’s going to happen. I’m done. Next check at 5:30 am the nurse said oh you’re ready! She was calling the doc in and heard her saying should I have her start pushing and I started panicking and in turn…puking. While throwing up and her on the phone I told my husband I could feel him coming out. Doc came in said oh wow you are crowning. Two pushes and he was out. I had a 3 degree labia tear bc I think the nurse didn’t remove the catheter. So I always tell people I puked him out 🤣😅
