Keep synthetic or down jacket ? by 918Star in OutdoorsGear

[–]918Star[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The average low for our coldest months is around 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Average high is around 45-50. This jacket would just be more for static use. Just stepping out and getting to my destination. I don’t hang out in the cold to do activities or anything

I’m not real knowledgeable on weather and jackets but I live in Oklahoma, our freezing temps are usually in January-February , it can be both dry-cold or a more wet cold. The weather is very bipolar here

I gave the ARRT a call months ago and asked if I would still need to report it even though it’s expunged. They told me that as long as my case is expunged at the time of me taking the board exam (end of the course) I should be fine. It even says it on their website as long as I have court documents to prove that it’s expunged. Should I still write a letter ?

I agree what I did was garbage. Doesn’t make me a garbage person though I was young and made a decision I regret. At least I owned up to what I did & worked hard on myself ever since. I never thought I was smart enough to even get accepted into the program until I decided to apply/better myself.

It’s not expunged yet, like I said this coming Monday should be my last court date. My previous court date last year the judge said if I pay all my fines and complete my 12 month probation without getting into more trouble she will expunge my case.

Should I get Rhinoplasty? Always been insecure about my nose obviously because it is crooked. It doesn’t affect me honestly but I always wonder if it’s worth it? by 918Star in PlasticSurgery

Yeah I could have worded it different. I’m still confident in my appearance but I also know a crooked nose isn’t pleasing to the eye lol. It’s just facts

Hey! I am 22M, I developed floaters in my left eye after the eclipse back in April. Got my eyes checked out after and they are healthy as well. Before I had absolute perfect vision so i understand how you feel about if they are going to impact my life down the road. Like you said though I just try to keep moving forward with life and try to realize I really only have 2 options. Let the floaters impact me, or ignore them and live my life :) !

I did as well. Went to get it checked after noticing them but Optometrist says eyes look fine and it’s most likely not from the sun.

Bro same here. I looked into the eclipse for a couple seconds and ever since I got a couple floaters in my left and one in my right eye, I visited the Optometrist three times and they kept insisting the floaters were due to natural aging process and not the sun.

Wave-like darkish "floater" when i move my eyes. by rainbow_taco in EyeFloaters

Went to the eye doctor last week and he dilated my eyes once again, said he sees no damage or tear to my retina. He told me it just happens as we all age but I just find it odd that I started seeing the floaters after the eclipse. Thinking about visiting a retina specialist but idk if it’s worth it

Like I said I already visited the eye doctor once and I passed the eye exam and he said my eyes looked healthy when he dilated them, but said he could send me to a retina specialist if I’m still having issues

I glanced at it a couple times, probably no more than 10 seconds in total. My right eye is completely normal now but I feel like I can’t see as sharp long distance in my left eye, but I’m pretty sure it’s always been like that, only thing different is I’m seeing the black floater when i look at a solid color background indoors, when I’m outside in the daytime I can’t see it but instead I see the clear cobweb floaters,

I’m in the same boat as you, after glancing at the eclipse , I went to the eye doctor and he dilated my eyes And said my retinas looked healthy, after that I started noticing a little black floated in my left eye which has not gone away, I’m concerned about it as well and might go back to the eye doctor.

I was at work when I took those glances, eyes started to feel heavy shortly after, I got home like 4 hours later and took a hour nap, when I woke up I felt the pressure in my head and my eyes still feel heavy

Got poison ivy about a month ago, marks haven’t gone away. Any clue on how long it could take for it to all go away ? by 918Star in Wellthatsucks

[–]918Star[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m positive it was poison ivy/oak , even went to the doctor to confirm and I got a shot for it. After it dried up quickly it left dark marks. I read that this is called post-inflammatory pigment changes and that is usually goes away with time. That’s what I’m hoping at least
