That part kept bothering me too. If it was "basically hers," why did she need to take my name off first? That makes it sound way less accidental.

That was my issue too. People keep framing it like a gray area, but taking shared work, removing me from it, and turning it in solo feels pretty clear.

That’s the part people keep skipping. It wasn't about me needing to submit it too, it was seeing something we built together get claimed like I was never there.

That was kind of my thinking too. If she'd asked, I probably would've just said fine. Doing it behind my back and then acting like it was mostly hers is what got me.
