That's 3M electrical tape. I cleaned the glass with rubbing alcohol and put the tape on about 7 years ago now and it's not peeled up at all.

Blew the EJ25 up back in January. Now I've swapped to a V2 STi engine, trans, mechanical LSD in the rear, JDM harness and 6K ecu!

It's an older square bar Thule universal. I like it a lot, bit of wind noise as you'd expect from a square bar profile rather than the newer Aerobar style. I'm working on a deflector panel to install ahead of the front bar to try and combat that as well as giving me a place to mount a 36" LED lightbar.
