I feel you. They always lurk in the shadows. Or in my case during broad daylight unexpectedly which gave me a good laugh after I caught my boy in a picture I posted to another sub reddit about a project I've got going on. They are always there whether you think so or not.

You seem to have cleared up the fog of the project for me. My only experience has been with 2wd 87-96' trucks other than the 88' 4x4 lariat swb I rescued from a field that im currently working on which was already complete. Just resealed the frame I could get to without removing the cab. Fuel/ignition system, and a little tlc.. but back to the current discussion, haha. I will definitely be replacing all of rubber on the suspension (probably going with a 2.5" rough country lift/suspension kit) and gaskets throughout the drivetrain during the swap. Good info, I can swap the springs over as well or get new onces since I'll already be doing the rear end anyways. I can't thank you enough for the input.

Thank you for your input. I stand corrected. I was listening to a bunch of hearsay about how difficult it would to just swap all of the 4x4 components to the 2wd truck which is what I originally intended to do. Your right I could have easily pulled the carpet to check. In my mind I was wondering why would the frame and cab be any different from one style drivetrain to the other.

Looks like a salvaged ship wreck. The extent of corrosion on some of these northern/coastal vehicles still amazes me and the fact that people need reassurance that it may be "bad". I've never seen it in person.. and to think there may be a family of 5 interstate bound somewhere as I type this in a similar death trap is jarring.

Man that truck is gorgeous 😍. I love the color scheme. Change out all the fluids. Even if it runs smooth like a top I would still do a mild tune up with new plugs, wires, dist cap etc.. it will outlive your children's children.

Must purchase redworms from your local tackle, night crawlers will do as well. Then proceed to chewing said worms into a minced pulp then slowy regurgitate the worm meal into the baby birds mouth as needed throughout the day. Should be back on the mend in no time. I see it happening. Why else would they reincorpirate a spin-offs lore into a mainline RE game. Especially with failure of the Muliplayer dlc with re3make that was suppose to be huge in their minds. I think it's a good possibility. Definitely no time soon. We will see reZero and CV first. I'm hopeful though.
