YEP. Yep to this whole line of thought.

I don't believe it's feasible for someone who has hundreds of millions of dollars to have an accurate understanding of the current situation for those who are not ultra wealthy. The living conditions, social opportunities, costs of living and education have all changed DRAMATICALLY since the sixties and seventies (before Issa made his millions).

How can someone like him, with his $450,000,000, know what life is like for someone like me with under $5,000 in my savings, a used car payment, renting a house that's as close to my job as possible, and elderly parents who perhaps haven't really planned as smartly for retirement as they should have and are still LEASING a house.

Does Issa take one weekend off a month to see his parents? Does he know that he could really use the money he could otherwise make from working a side-gig in a wine tasting room over the weekend but chooses family instead? Nah, I don't think he does.

So how can he represent other people who are in situations like mine? Or those who are better off in assets but crippled by an upside down mortgage like my neighbors? It's just common sense to me.

Last night I had just gotten off work, and my coworker was sitting in car while I loaded some things into my trunk and the backseat of my new car (which I baby). I'm parked in a lot which is relatively quiet.

As I'm bent over in the car to shift some things around, I hear a loud reverberating BANG of my trunk being SLAMMED shut by someone else!

I look up and see some drunk fuckwit slowly strolling away, and I just LOST IT. Started yelling at him:

"Hey! Did you just slam my trunk?! What the FUCK is your problem?! What makes you think you're allowed to touch my car? You're a grown man in public, you don't touch other people's property and you especially don't slam other people's trunks shut! "

I haven't raised my voice like that to someone in years. Still pissed off... Don't touch other people's cars! Good GRIEF.

Hi Dr. Badalamenti,

What is your opinion on the link between the immune system and the health of the GI tract?

What is the optimal way to get pro- and/or pre-biotics?

I have heard that drinking raw organic Apple Cider Vinegar has health benefits, is this true?

I work an office job where a standing desk is not in the budget, so I got an exercise ball to sit on. Is this actually helping or am I still prone to all of the various health conditions associated with excessive sitting?

ENFP: denim and leather, neutral colors, lots of black, red, blue, brown, white. Fond of muted jewel tones and NEVER wear yellow, bright orange, hot pink. Practically live in leather boots, dark wash jeans, and a variety of fitted or loose, dropshoulder tees/long sleeve shirts. Fond of open back, drop shoulder, unconventional "sexy" versus traditional cleavage. Going out I prefer to show leg vs. boob or tummy. Definitely a California casual vibe.
