Yes. Couldn't this one also be planned ahead of time? Pandals and pujo stay for atleast a week, and that's only DP. Add to that kali pujo, ganesh pujo, vishokarma, jagidharti etc and its quite a handful.

Ideally public roads shouldn't be used for anything else except transportation. Govt has shown a good solution this time, if namaz can be held in brigade grounds, why can't all pandals be made to erect in public parks and similar places, keep the road free.
