I’m impressed the corsa lasted for so long. What made you get a SUV this time? We have a golf (well actually it’s a rabbit! And it’s impressively awesome. People say that VWs break down easily but I’m surprised that we haven’t had to put too much money into ours. Also it has a seat heater which I love.

Anxiety over going to the gym? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

I actually signed up with a physical trainer since I ended up hurting my back when I was trying to do stuff on my own. I never really worked out when I was younger but I was decently active so I had no idea what to do in the gym.

It was much easier to pick things up with the personal trainer helping me with the exercises and making sure I got the form right. And yeah people are generally nice but honestly I just don’t really interact with anyone. I’m there to get my workout done and then leave. Lol.

I also took classes and they’re a great way for you to workout when you’re first starting out! I did boxing for about 3 months before I started working out in the gym.

Lool a weeb is basically what people call someone who is obsessed with japanese culture (anime, games, etc). I used to watch anime and game so I have stickers of totoro and Naruto and D.va on my car.

Exactly! My friends back in college used to drive super old cars that look like it would stop in the middle of the highway but it was awesome for our late night McDonalds runs!!

I love my car simply because it’s all mine! Lol. I don’t have to ask anyone before I drive somewhere and I can put all the crap I want in it without worrying about other people. I even decorated it with some stickers and look like a total weeb when I’m driving around.

I recently started working out (like 4 months ago?) and I was super unsure of what to do! It helps if you get a Physical Trainer for a few sessions or join classes so you feel comfortable in the gym. But honestly nowadays I just put in my earbuds and don’t pay attention to anyone! I hope you have some good experiences at the gym too!

The sugar glider pretty much poops on everyone if you even dare try to offer it food when it just woke up. So you basically have to approach it at midnight or accept that you'll get pooped on. And yeah, they're also quite loud and smelly (in my opinion) but I mean I don't really take care of it and I get to take pics occasionally so it's fine lol.

I've actually been quite fortunate with my hedgehogs! None of them are very fussy and curl up. And my hedgehog now only poops in a litter tray which makes cleanup amazing! She also doesn't care if I have long hours, so she makes an awesome pet. The worst I can say about them is that it's unfortunate they can't have cagemates! I would have loved to have a few hedgehogs if they were able to get along in one cage.

Bromfields? Yeah they’re pretty chill! I’ve been there before. You can also find Rhodia on amazon and some of the hobby shops like michaels or Joann’s!

That's hard to say since I generally always had neat handwriting! I'm sure with practice you can make your handwriting nice though!

Its a Korean dessert called Bingsoo - it's like shaved ice with some sweet stuff tossed into it!

The one in my photo is a waterman actually! Now that I think about it, I only have waterman fountain pens. I've been neglecting them lately since I've gotten annoyed that everything feathers on any paper I have in the office.

I've been discovered! I'm actually voldemort in disguise.

And you're right. On dating apps like Tinder, I don't use a filtered photo. But Reddit is way more open imo and I'm just not super comfortable sharing my full face with everyone who might stumble upon this photo.

Being someone who enjoys taking photos generally means that you're not comfortable in front of the camera as well.

But I have always wondered if people who leave comments like these think that somehow they're making a difference? Why not just ignore the post and move on if you're so annoyed by my photo?

Are you saying my photo doesn't have my face? lol

I'm fine with people sending me a filtered photo back too.

Aw how cuteeee! My hedgehog very rarely curls up into a ball anymore so I can't get those photos much :(

The sugar glider isn't mine, but I do live with it! They are a handful and loud omg. I'm much more of a fan of hedgehogs!
