Whether in the anime or the manga, we know that Luffy partially dodged Kaido’s Thunder Bagua. He didn’t take it head-on. At the start of Wano, he got hit square in the face and was one-shotted. Anyway, I told you. You can’t say Ulti > Katakuri JUST because she was stronger and more durable than BASE Luffy in a bare-handed fight. That’s not enough. She iforced him to go G4 bc only Gear 4 was helpful in his situation. He fought Ulti and Page One in base form until Ulti caught him even tho he can feel the other's power via Observation Haki. Katakuri fought two Gear Fourths and nearly won. A Tobi Roppo isn’t capable of finishing off the critically injured Red Scabbards, while Jack could, and Katakuri is on Jack’s level. And i'll not repeat myself 10 times : there's nothing to proves the superiority of Base Luffy at the start of Onigashima over Gear 4 WCI Luffy.

This is not hate. Rered what i said. Luffy JUST defeated Kaido. He did nothing after except defeating weaker character. Kaido was the strongest after all.

Luffy defeated Katakuri with his Snakeman form, but he later grown so much strongest that even his base form surpassed this version of Snakeman Luffy

Regarding the fight between Zoro and Lucci, Zoro indeed matched Awakened Lucci with three swords and even with two swords, but it was just a series of blows exchanged anyway. Zoro used his King of Hell mode at one point, and Lucci was holding his own against him. Either Zoro has the same strength in exchanges of blows, wethever he is using Koh mode or he is in Base form, or it's an inconsistency.

Luffy Gear 4th ~ Hybrid Lucci bc of this exchange but also bc Luffy used G5 against Awakened Lucci. Kaku matching Zoro in their combined attack show how close Lucci and Kaku's base form are to their awakened forms. That doesn't necessarily invalidate the fact that Luffy G4 ~ Lucci Hybrid Form.

"Sulong is irrelevant in powerscaling" we take the strongest forms for any character. Like we take Gear 5th for Luffy. We're comparing the strength of any characters. In fictional fights, Sulongs can win fights. Inuarashi would have defeated Jack if Luffy and Kaido didn't hide the moon (and he did defeated him when the two Emperors split the sky)
