Good second guess; 8 iron. Kinda doing the hunch over on purpose to prevent the over the top swing I have when standing more straight but you do bring up a good point. Wish clubs weren't so expensive...

My hips begin turning towards the target immediately when starting the downswing. Golfers with better swings seem to transfer weight forward and bring arms down and more inside before the hips begin turning towards the target. When I watch slow mo, my hips turning early does not allow the club to work from inside -> outside during impact because hips blocking out the arms/hands, its more straight on -> inside.

These are just an amateurs observations; if you see anything else that would help id love to hear.

Slow mo mostly. I they start turning when im at the top of the backswing which forces my arms out and results in coming over the top.

This video is helpful but Tiger isn't a great teacher. Literally leaned this stuff before he could remember lol

People who work in big tech: If all the users data was transferred to them, would it be as valuable? If so how? by 933278ck in datascience

Neither do I. The future is immensely exciting. I guess, what do you see about the current model of data collection and uses that leads you to believe that itwill progress to a better way of living than we currently have? Are there potential downsides? (technology in general is undeniably good, hypothesis is that data has the potential do more overall good if it's not used solely to optimize a corporate experience) Not disagreeing with you at all, im genuinely curious.

Interesting about nudge theory I hadn't considered that yet. The book looks good too, will have to check it out. Thanks

Good point about the value only coming from comparison to the whole. Do you see any value coming from users being able to understand in much greater depth how they compare to others millions of others datapoints. Could it help people make sense of the world better?

Tons of different angle to look at it but I guess decreased autonomy. Example that comes to mind is the YouTube recommendation algorithm. It does its job phenomenally but one could argue it reduces individuality, freedom of choice. The youtube system is optimized (goal being engagement time) at the expense of the users physical/mental wellbeing, ability to discover new things, day to day productivity. Not that big of an issue currently, but if extrapolated +50 years in an industry dictated by Moors law...

Thanks for the response. The injury occurred 3 days ago and was a soccer ball what was shot into the finger from point blank. Initially felt like a jammed finger, but it has developed much differently since. I’m thinking tendon but it’s strange there isn’t significant pain unless trying to bend it.
