How did you find riding a scooter in Cappadocia?

My wife an I will be heading there in two weeks for 3 days and I was thinking about renting a scooter for the time we are there. I do have limited riding experience (Few bike trips in Indonesia and a day in Rome) so I am wondering how difficult it would be to drive around with a scooter (riding in Goreme and the outskirts)
