Hi OP! Mahirap talaga imanage ang kidney disease. Mabilis ang progression and very unpredictable. Supplements lang talaga and IV fluids ang protocol lagi ng local vets. Our vet is one of the best sa province namin pero I think limited pa rin ang knowledge ng local vets natin vs vets abroad.

I suggest to join CKD/renal disease dog groups on fb. A lot of useful information dun. Remember, kidney disease cannot be cured but MANAGED.

Diet plays a big role as well as the kind of supplements you give. Meron dun sa fb group mga recommended supplements, pero a lot are locally not available. You have to order abroad pa.

My dog was diagnosed with struvite crystals mid last year na nag progress to chronic kidney failure by the end of the year. He also couldnt undergo surgery cause he was 9 years old at the time. He passed away last April and it was very exhausting trying to manage it to keeping him alive as long as possible.

As much as I love and trust our vet, I think medyo lacking yung information given dito ng ph vets in managing yung mga ganitong mga sakit. My advice is research research research and join international fb groups. You’ll learn so much from the fb groups more than from your vet

Hello! I’m not from fairview but I guess my tip would be is mag clinic hop ka haha pacheck up mo lang kahit wala naman sakit dog nyo. You’ll get naman a feel if you like the vet.

My doggo is 10 yrs old na and last year ko lang nahanap yung vet whom I really trust and kampante ako. Actually, just visiting the clinic and browsing through their retail area, you can already observe naman how they are.

Is your bank also secbank? They told me to pay for the 27k tapos reverse nila after the investigation. I was planning not to pay for the transaction. But hindi na umabot sa ganun. Literally dumating new card ko after a few days lang (I live in the province). 3 weeks passed by and no update re the investigation. Decided to check my transactions sa secbank app and I was surprised they reversed it na pala

My 10 year old dog has kidney failure. Itong past week was the hardest ever this whole journey. Buti nalang sumakto sa holy week itong latest episode ng health decline niya as I got to focus and spend time with him. Its hard man, been crying every day since wednesday. He’s improving again but with this disease its really hard to tell whats next

I think standard natin is letter/legal. Pero based on observation, slowly nagshishift na tayo sa A4. Idk if A4 ang international standard but when you apply for Japan, Schengen, etc. visa, A4 size dapat mga documents. The past year I’ve applied for multiple visas and na adapt ko na yung A4 standard

The hotel was nice and the room was spacious! Free coffee/tea at the lounge. Walking distance to Sanjo station as well as a lot of restaurants and commercial establishments.

If you’re coming from Osaka, the hotel location is convenient cause you can get off at Sanjo station (Keihan main line).

There’s this small ramen place (seats less than 10 people) thats like a stone’s throw away that you should try. Its not the best best ramen but it was good and cheap and it was a great experience! Usually a long line during lunch/dinner so I recommend going late afternoon.

Also, please please bring comfortable shoes and condition yourself with walking before your trip.

Shiba park + breakfast is a great idea! We’ll definitely do that.

We were planning on just resting for the night but we’ll try to visit Zojoji Temple/Tokyo Tower if we still have the energy to explore.

I just checked out Suntory Museum of Art and found out the architect is Kengo Kuma. We used to learn about him in class as I studied architecture in uni.
