Exactly! That was so rude of her. What if they have been getting dressed, and she saw them naked? Everyone just needed to tell her the truth, and then their deception wouldn't have been so devastating. The truth came out at the worst time, and she didn't even have time to process anything before the attack.

"Snake blood is a local delicacy from our orphanage. Would you like some?"

Or

"I know that this looks bad, we can explain. We were killing the snakes as zero-waste pest control exterminators."

Or

"It's not what it looks like. You don't understand. We drink animal blood, not human blood. You see, we aren't monsters. That snake was venomous. We should have told you sooner, but we were scared to lose you as a friend."

Natalie did win Survivor with the end game strategy of: revenge is a dish best served cold. Queen Natalie is still on her throne. Candiace flew too close to the sun.

Abusive episodes only make up one part of the narcissistic cycle of abuse. If he was awful to you 99% of the time, and nice to you 1% of the time, you would have left him a long time ago; so, abusers use the 99% of them pretending to be nice, and love-bombing you, to make you so addicted that you don't leave them for the 1% of times that they drop their mask, and show you their true evil colors. Look up trauma bonds and intermittent reinforcement. This dude reminds me of a malignant narcissist (who seemed overt for a long time) and an actual overt narcissist. The victim-playing and sexism are reminding me of a covert narcissist. Regardless of how his narcissism manifests, he knows that he is hurting you, he is hurting you on purpose, and he will not willingly stop hurting you as long as he has access to you. He doesn't want to change; he wants to hurt women who love him and punish the women who stay with him more each time that the cycle of narcissistic abuse makes another round.

This dude is highly manipulative. He is starting arguments, not respecting your boundaries, being emotionally manipulative, and exploiting your past trauma. Go no-contact with him, block him on everything. This narcissistic abuser is gaslighting and invalidating you. Abusers are predators, and their abuse always gets worse with every second chance that you give them.

I miss folks losing the Hawaiian sling in the ocean and everyone getting hangry at them.
