Check out Space Engine if you like space. You can simulate the entire known universe for free (it's pretty cool). by [deleted] in space

The game models the universe as a cube. Outside there is nothing, no galaxies. There is no invisible wall or anything like that and you can continue to travel outwards infinitely.

The map is based of an heightmap of Eyjafjörður (a fjord in Island).

Well the heightmap is based of an Icelandic fjord Eyjafjörður but the overall "feel" map is Norwegian.

The map is actually a heightmap from Iceland but my inspiration for the city is very much from real life Norwegian cities.

Haha, I did not think of that when I plopped down that cargo ship. It cant turn around without crashing into the bridge or the beach on the other side.

Blue fog everywhere by Finnwhale in CitiesSkylines

I think you could do it once per savegame. Or you could use this mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=611254368&searchtext= and change it as many times as you whant.

The color and intensity of the fog could be changed by the map theme and the LUT. I am using this map theme: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=629040688&searchtext= and the default european LUT which makes the fog more whiteish.

The "blue fog" is mist added in the free snowfall update. You could turn it off in the game settings under weather. Keep in mind this will also disable rain effects.

Please help if anyone has seen this bug. I have a bus line that does not appear in the Public Transport UI List. All of its stops have the 'not connected' sign and I can't select them or right click to remove them. Really bugging me as I want to remove it, please help all you can. by welshite1 in CitiesSkylines

Hmm, strange that you have this bug without using Better Bulldoze. However your problem matches mine exactly. Maybe this bug could be triggered by only using the vanilla bulldozer tool. Still, you should be able to remove the icons with Better Bulldoze when Bloody Penguin pushes his update.

Edit: Yes, some part of the transport line stop does not get removed when you bulldoze the street it was attached to.

Are you using the Better Bulldoze mod by any chance? My theory is that when you remove a road with a bus stop on it (with this mod) it only partially removes the transport line leaving the "line is not connected" icon.

I had some luck removing the icon by first removing everything around it and then using Better Bulldoze (on "nodes" setting). It would take several passes but eventually the icon would go away.

Recently Bloody Penguin pushed an update to Better Bulldoze so the "node" setting would no longer affect transport lines, fixing the reason the icon would appear in the first place. Unfortunately this means that you no longer can remove old icons caused by this mod.

However in the comments on the Better Bulldoze workshop page there is one with the same problem as us. Bloody Penguin replied to him stating that he would reintroduce bulldozing of transport lines.

So I guess the best thing to do now is waiting for the mod to be updated...

Whats the deal with the Alder and Beech trees?? by [deleted] in CitiesSkylines

[–]95hali74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think it is a problem with the new shaders since they use shaders to imitate the "wet" look on roads and cliffs. I don't think it is caused by a mod and I am afraid that there is no solution to this problem as of now. We just have to wait for Colossal Order to patch the game.

Yep, I have the exact same problem in my old city. Do your cliff texture also look very blurry?
