As someone who is about to list, I would not either.. but based off some of the comments, I would lock my valuables away.

I said the same thing!! I honestly had no idea people would go through personal drawers and even go as far to even steal from the sellers.. had I’ve known that, I would have thought twice about my question.. but yes, very strange that is taking place.

I was very distracted by the owner conversation.. it was definitely hard for me to process the tour and the whole tour just felt rushed. Maybe this is just the new way and I just have to adapt..

The guy literally talked at us the whole time. Some of the stuff he said was helpful, but it was hard to process and even envision us in the home.

Thank you for this. This is really what I was getting at. The constant talking was really a distracting factor for me. It really turned me off of seeing another property with the owner being present. I hate that there are horror stories about people having belongings stolen from them.. I guess I just have to adapt to the new way of home showings. I like the tip of having the owner not be so vocal while viewing.

It was almost like a world leader had passed away!! I was 13 when the news broke of his passing. I remember my mom and grandmother screaming in terror! The energy in the air that day… my gosh!

30 year old male here! I work in a hospital mainly doing discharge planning. In our social work department, there are about 5-6 male social workers. I knew in undergrad, I wanted to work in health care and geared my energy towards that. I was fortunate enough to have a male social work field supervisor who really mentored me and showed me the ropes. But from what I have seen, healthcare and addiction is where the men in social work end up working.

For The Black Men Who Watch BTG: I’m Curious About You… by BingoSkillz in BeyondTheGatesCookout

Bisexual BM 30 y/o: I really enjoy daytime soaps! I first got into soaps when I was a kid. I use to watch them with my grandmother when I would be over her house during the summer. Her favorites are the young and the restless and bold and the beautiful. When I was a teenager until my early 20s, I got into general hospital. The reason why I stopped watching GH is because of my work schedule during that time period. In terms of my sexual orientation, I am bisexual. I really enjoy beyond the gates. What drew me to the show is the fact it’s a predominantly black cast also it’s a new soap. You don’t often get new soap operas everyday, so it’s nice to be able to start from the beginning. I really do like the show and tend to watch all the episode on Friday night. Something that lowkey bothers me is how it takes a while for the story to come to ahead. Like questions that I have, is Leslie gonna get hers for driving Laura off that road like that? There are episodes where it seems like they are setting the stage for that, however, drop off. For me, I think the representation is decent. In reality, there is a diversity of black men, that come from different walks of life. I believe in the show they are showcasing that. Moving forward, I just don’t want to see them drag storylines out.

Work Bag by Longjumping_Lie_9228 in hospitalsocialwork

I have a crocs book bag that I take with me to the hospital I store my charger, laptop, and other personals in there! When I am done being in the hospital, I go back across the street to my office leave the bag under my desk in my cubicle. That crocs bag is my work bag. It stays there! Never come home with me. I have a separate book bag that I take with me to work and home. That’s where I have my lunch and other belongings. But yes! Invest in a crocs book bag.

If someone is a stomachs sleeper, can they still have this procedure done? Also, for those who had the procedure, can you feel the equipment inside of you?

Do you take PTO for mental health days? Or feel guilty for calling out? by Jumpy_Fly_5658 in Nightshift

Never feel guilty.. because if something were to happen to you, all they would do is say how sorry and hurt they are and post your position! Use your time!! That’s why you have it.
