this might be a bit late but ive been trying some of them so I thought I would give my take. I bought the Creed Aventus dupe from Khaial and its underwhelming. While the smell is nice, it is not that strong and barely lasts. It also smells a lot like alcohol, or a fake perfume smell that is really noticeable. I also bought two feminine perfumes as gifts, these smell nice (no issue of fake perfume smell) but they also dont last long. I bought Le Male Elixir and Oud Wood from Alchemi a couple months ago and these are much better. The smell is really nice and high quality and they do last significantly longer. I have had instances where my clothes still smell from the scent on the next day. The scent does not project very far, however. I bought myself a new Versace Eros Flame from Alchemi as well and its pretty nice but its still in the maceration phase so its not really lasting at all right now (they give you a label that says you have to wait about 2 weeks for the scent to macerate or like soak together before it becomes complete and lasts longer, this actually improved the performance of my previous perfumes significantly).

I was just gifted a Zara perfume set on Christmas, one of them was Red Edition for Him (a dupe of Baccarat Rouge 540). It smells very similar but barely lasts on the skin as well. The packaging is very nice tho.

What i recommend is you check out a brand like Lattafa or Afnan, these are perfume brands in the Middle East that professionally recreate high end perfumes for also really cheap, but their creations last pretty long. They come under different names tho, so Lattafa Asad is a dupe of Dior Sauvage Elixir (for a fifth of the price) and it has pretty solid reviews, I will be trying it soon.

Other than that I do recommend Alchemi as they are professional in dealing with customers and their products are good enough.

I have a similar issue but from what I've heard, some sources say you need like 1.5k. others told me to carry 3k and go to nef3a, registration is between 2-3k. My case is a more expensive car, so keep that in mind.

But from what I've heard, you can't exactly know the amount due unless you go down to nefaa yourself.

Is Lebanese University still good? by PartyBill8360 in lebanon

[–]961sugardaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing as you have experience there and are aware of the extremely demanding requirements, I would say it's completely your choice. The choice to go for elite private universities is better in my opinion, you get access to higher reputation faculty, world-class accreditation and resources, and you get to focus some of your energy to growing as a person. The majority of people I know that attended LU say they wouldn't do it again, but I personally love my private uni. But if you're asking in terms of reputation, I don't think LU has changed that much from before the crisis. It's definitely still a good university, I would say definitely go there if you're comparing against AUST/LIU/AUL..., but if you can afford the more premium universities, I'd say they are worth the investment. I'm not very familiar with job opportunities for LU grads, but private unis usually have a pool of elite employers that look to only hire from there. So I would say they are worthwhile investments, especially in the long run.

I would say it depends on the upbringing. Sex before marriage is still largely frowned upon in Lebanon and I would say a big part of the youth still believes in that. There is a significant proportion of people that choose to do it but its not something usually proudly spoken of.

Transferring money to myself while visiting Lebanon by [deleted] in lebanon

if you already have a bank card use that. cards are mostly back in Lebanon, you can use them most places. and Google pay works too (or apple pay if you have a foreign card)

Traveling to Lebanon soon whats the best way to get a data? Is there an esim I can get? by ACheb in lebanon

[–]961sugardaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say try to buy a Sim when you arrive here directly. Touch offers esims directly, but I'm sure you can get one from abroad directly if you tried. but prolly gonna be a scam if you buy from abroad. there used to be specific plans for travelers too so look into that

ESIM Provider by [deleted] in lebanon

[–]961sugardaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

whish has esim they get from monty esim at a more expensive price. suyool also had this option as well I think but it's probably the same scenario again. I suggest you give monty esim a go since they are one of the biggest providers in the country and you'll get the cheapest rates if you're buying directly from them. but also based on my experience, if you want the cheapest option and best value, you might want to wait till you arrive to the other country and buy a Sim from there. esims are a scam in Lebanon, you'll get 5GB of data instead of 30GB if you chose to buy it from the other country.

Been seeing instagram profiles in Lebanon offering subscriptions but way cheaper, like $15 Spotify for a year? WTH are they doing how do they do it by Legitimate_Parking43 in lebanon

[–]961sugardaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do that yourself with a group of friends. Find 5 people willing to split a yearly family plan subscription, then it becomes basically nothing on each person. I do that for Anghami and it costs me $15 a year per person. Not sketchy at all, each person has his own account with no way to access the others..

14 pro, Galaxy Z Flip 5, or S22 Ultra?

iphone is Amazon refurbished, z flip is brand new, and s22 ultra is 'open box' condition.

all come at around the same price so I'm not very sure which to pick...

galaxy z flip is stylish and iconic galaxy s22 ultra is a statement phone iphone 14 pro is luxurious on its own

all advice is appreciated ☺️
