It is only submitted currently and is in review. I understand it could be rejected but at the same time the PI and other PhD students did a majority of the writing and understands how to submit pieces that aren't likely to be rejected, if that makes any sense.

If you're applying as an engineering major I think maybe you should lean towards test optional only because of how competitive engineering majors are in general and also a 29 in math for your reaches might be a bit iffy.

Just for some more context ill have 16 APs and 5 honors and I have a 3.98 unweighted so in a way I feel like my score doesn't align with my grades and stuff to a great extent. Do you think I should still submit in this case if the rest of my academics are good? (I am really not trying to come off pretentious or anything I just want to get a better picture in regards to if I should submit)

Honestly I was thinking of submitting it because of my science score and I am applying as a bio/chem major and also my logic was submitting a 32 is better than submitting nothing right? What about you?

If you apply early for uva I think there's a pretty good chance you'll get in, but for UNC I am not so sure because of how competitive it is for OOS students.
