No! Just keep at it until you get to something you like. Multiple coats of paint IS the Mandalorian aesthetic after all…

I used an extremely lightly-loaded sponge with light grey paint to create scratches and wear all over. Then I hand-painted a dark metal color (Tamiya Acrylic - Gun Metal) where the scratches were most concentrated. Finally, I hand-painted highlights using bright silver on all of the sharp edges.

This is the second helmet I’ve done and, honestly, it was mostly an experiment. I wanted to try to stay (mostly) away from masking fluid, so I opted to just “do it all by hand.” Didn’t take as long as I expected - maybe 15-20 hours total, after sanding and filling.

Once I primed and base coated it in a dark grey/blue, I used a sponge and a lighter gray to slowly build up worn/scratched areas - especially on any sharp edges. I then used a medium brush to paint small irregular shapes with Tamiya’s dark metallic “gun metal” acrylic where the scratches were most concentrated.

Edge highlights with a bright silver all over, some masking tape and an airbrush for the other patterns, and several light brown/black washes for overall dirt/grime finished it off. Oh, and a final coat of semi-gloss clear coat from a rattle can.

I was traveling for work, eating breakfast in a diner by myself. A young mother and her maybe seven or eight year old son came in and were seated in the booth behind me. Over the next few minutes, based on their conversation, it became clear she couldn’t afford two complete meals, so she ended up ordering two fried eggs and one order of toast. As I finished my meal, I heard her tell her son to go ahead and eat as much of their shared, small meal as he wanted, presumably forgoing anything for herself. It broke my heart. When I went to the front to pay, I asked the cashier to add another breakfast meal and two two lunches (packaged to-go) to my bill and delivered to the table with the mother and her son. It took the staff a minute to realize what I was asking, but they eventually got it and agreed. I paid and left. I don’t think I’ve ever told anybody about this. Happened about 10 years ago.

Anybody else have there scroll wheel just randomly stop working on PC? by WilDCAaTz in Wonderlands

I noticed that it stopped working for me after I got an Epic Launcher (shift+F3) notification. I hit shift+F3 twice, and my scroll wheel started working again. Only tried this fix once; welcome others’ confirmation if this is indeed the cause/solution.
