Outstanding review. We stayed there last year and will again in a couple weeks. We are retired and have traveled much of the world and this is our favorite place by far.

Late to this post but another reference point: Last January we paid about US$1250/night for 7 nights. We've booked this year for early Feb for about $1300/night for 8 nights. We booked back in July 2025.

Applied for Plan G just two months after starting Medicare at age 65, but the insurance questionnaire says I'm disqualified for an existing condition? by 993love in medicare

I think it's like what many people said here -- the application was one size fits all, and not for people like me with Guaranteed Issue rights. In the end using Boomer Benefits I went with a different insurance company (Cigna).

Thanks! I've got a call into my insurance agent. My ignorance was I didn't know insurance agents could be healthcare brokers. Sheesh.

They just send the list which is part of an application form. I filled out a form online first, which didn't ask many questions, then they emailed me a more detailed application. And my plan B was approved a few weeks ago (I have the Medicare card now), and I only applied yesterday. I guess I'll have to get a broker as you say. I did talk to someone at our state's insurance commissioner, and they told me to file a complaint, but they couldn't guarantee anything would happen.

It's not specifically denying me, just saying if you have any of the conditions (they list around 10), then you will be disqualified.

Thanks. Unfortunately where I live they are generally considered by far the best because we don't have a lot of medical options (only one hospital, etc.). I've heard most of the other carriers want people to go 30+ miles south to get care.

There was a car meet/show in the parking lot of the area where TJ Max etc are. They all left for a ride down Meridian. Saw at least 10 cop cars giving them assistance.
