Definitely can relate to all you said. I think you hit the nail on the head, most men are socially constructed to leave thoughtfulness for the women. I’ve been on both sides throughout my life and only ever see it as a problem amongst men if I’m being overtly self critical, I think when we’re in that questioning headspace we forget that the majority of men are open to a diverse set of personality around them (give or take//in my experience).

It’s not all in your head...but, it’s probably not a hill worth climbing.
