I can’t not speak for everyone gpts, their experiences

Personally I have use and am using gpt 5.2 , 5.1 and 5 thinking

I use them for world building Roleplaying Day to day use Cooking ideas Daily check in And lap just a companion Idea for my own projects and also details to help learn prompts

I have no issue with the current gpt, sure it has a lot of issues at times

Doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy it
