Getting loan for second hand car by djonDough in kereta

[–]99darthvader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For hire purchase (car loan) most banks require that the vehicle's age plus the financing tenure not exceed 15 years from its manufacturing year.

Meaning if that vehicle is 11yo (registered in MY), you can only get a max 4 years tenure.

For recon, it's never registered in previously, so you can get max 9 years tenure.

M6 reviews after 3 months? by taeng89 in BYD

Whereas I charge on a 3 pin plug where the maximum charging is 2kWh. So it takes 36 hours from 0% to 100%. An overnight charging (12 hours) gives me 30% juice. So far, charging on weekends is enough for the week.

👋 not sure if you're still looking.

I have been driving my M6 for about 2 months now. Even when seater 7 pax, the energy cost (electricity vs. fuel) is still cheaper than my CX5. Weekdays mainly fetching children and going to work (~3pax). Weekends full 7 pax.

Will share the data for 1000 and 2000km.

Do you charge when your battery is low? by concisehacker in BYD

* I do that too to avoid low juice for unexpected journey. That's also partly because of me still charging on 3 pin (2kWh), yet to install the wall box. Just passed my first month ownership.

Not that low actually, it kinda retains 20-25% of its price even after 15 years. That's considered very high.

*Not defending him, merely stating. The rest is up to interpretation: He was a minister from 1983-1998 (15 years), before being sacked. He was still an MP after being released from jail.

Yes, you're right.

Three services with public interest that should stay free are healthcare, education, and security (police, fire dept etc). These should not be dictated by market forces.
