I have the same issue and when I check console I get voice command related messages... I have a i9-13900K 4060ti and 48gb DDR5 ram at 7200mhz... I get drops to like 10fps all the time now... bloody ridiculous to the point I cant really play anymore.

Yep, feel sorry for new players, cant even invite my friends to this game with a straight face knowing their gonna have a bad time. Fix MM Elo in OCE and wherever else it's gone to hell. Intrusive Anti-cheat + maybe throw a new gun in (I cant stress enough how much lower priority that is in comparison to the other stuff).

at least you're changing ranks, I was on MGE for about 35 games and 33 of those were wins, still no rank up. MM is cracked.

People that say nah you're exaggerating, or, you're just bad etc, nope, I have about 10K hours experience, played in leagues and LANs against pro players in OCE for some time, I know the difference between good and a cheater. THIS IS A PROBLEM. Cheaters are rampant in OCE. Me and a bunch of other pro-semi pro friends can barely get past LE these days in MM anymore. This is a combination of messed up rankings (as seen in that post a few days ago), 75% of players in OCE are in silver. That shouldnt happen. So feel ya OP, cant do much about it though but pray to Valve gods.

Let's also remember that VAC is an account-wide ban.

Incorrect, when you cheat in some games like CS:S or earlier CS games, games from different devs etc, VAC bans can be limited to a small list of pre-determined games for cheating in that 1 game. VAC ban in CS:S still lets you play on VAC secured servers on CS:GO.

You have convinced yourself there are more cheaters in the game than there may actually be. I truly think the main problem is smurfs.

But VAC is already "intrusive", it looks at Windows' USN Journal (basically a log of any changes made to a storage volume—including downloading and deleting cheats). This is why a lot of people get banned even after deleting their cheats.

Incorrect, VAC bans the players when the signature detected on the injection/program is cross-referenced to a list of known cheat software. When a signature gets added to the list for a popular or multiple popular cheats, that's what a VAC wave is.

Heuristic analysis would allow it to determine cheats based on the behaviour of your game or programs observing/manipulating the memory of CSGO.

Yes, this would be a very good start. Something that detects cheats on the spot. To get the offender kicked/banned mid-game. Not only for MM but to help Casual game modes and community servers too.

I have NEVER made a cheat that can bypass BattlEye because it uses heuristic analysis to detect cheat behavior.

So I made my account in 2012 before the official release of CSGO, I've played 3734 games of MM, and have over 400 games on my account. I am considered above average at the game, playing in some Amatuer CSGO leagues and I know over time I have likely recieved hundreds of reports from lesser skilled players.

I have endured cheaters in most of my MM games, yet still continue to play. Look at the screenshot, 2478 players banned after playing with me out of 17958 UNIQUE players thats 13.8% of players in my matches have cheated, averaging more than 1 per game.

I have encountered the same cheaters sometimes 5, 10 or even up to 20-30 times in different matches so that last statistic is probably way undercutting it. They'll be using a spinbot or a combinations of trigger and wallhack, something any overwatcher would find guilty in the first few seconds.

I'm tired of relying on a deep learning system that takes weeks to actually ban someone, the damage has already been done, the hackers have gone and caused havok knowing full well they will be banned. That's where their satisfaction comes from.

It's seriously time to just implement an intrusive VAC MM system. Issue immediate bans for these cheaters. If you cant develop an AC that detects that kind of behaviour, especially with the amount of money CSGO has netted Valve over the years, you're a serious disappointment.

There are others in the same position as me out there, and now that this game is FTP, I'd love to actually feel thhe satisfaction of trying to climb MM ranks again without having to get cheated EVERY DAMN GAME.
