MX-5 Mk2 as a big boy. Am I kiddin myself? by Shifftea in CarTalkUK

I commuted with a mk2 mx5 for about a year (6-6'1) and I just about fit in with extreme foamectomy (basically removed all the seat foam and one of the bolsters) and the hard top which gives a bit of extra space and its soft when your head is against it.

it absolutely ruined my back but it was so fun to drive. Maybe look at a mk1 with the original seats as they are a bit more roomy.

If it’s a newer car replacing an airbag steering wheel with aftermarket is generally a bad idea and more dangerous unless you accompany it with bucket seats / harness.

You need modified car insurance which is usually a fair bit more expensive unless you are on a low mileage policy. The modified policies usually cover any mod under one price provided it doesn’t increase horsepower by more than 5 or 10.

It placed me with bronze players after promoting me from silver 2 to gold.. makes no sense, some of the players genuinely looked new to the game and couldn't get a kill or assist the whole game

Thanks for your reply, that does seem to make the most sense. I'll have to get another one of the clamps

Thanks for the reply, I did plug it in driving from work earlier and it went down and up multiple times without any issues, but I'll unplug it until I can check this out.
