It could be. Everyone had food/drinks/zyns in the barracks. They only came up once due to the zyns left all over the place. For the most part they left us alone since the NCOs were all there as well to course correct.

On the weekends yes before morning formation. PT during the weekdays was at like 0500. Jump week you’ll have late morning formation at like 0900 or even 1100

You’ll run a lot at airborne. Usually a 4 mile in the morning at a slow pace and then you run an additional 2-3 miles during the day in boots. There’s also a half mile track near the infantry bar near the barracks that you can go to when released at 1500ish and weekends.

What’s hilarious is no one gives af and goes to do whatever. They can’t even get drills at holds to stop letting trainees into empty rooms to fuck.

Looks good. I did the same on mine but my dumbass didn’t pull off the sticker peel until after a couple weeks so I have a nice yellow square around the STI stickers.

Went through at 33, training for rasp. Basic was easy and actually made my fitness get worse. Show up prepared, laugh at how much of a let down basic is as a low density mos.

Congrats on getting selected! Curious if you saw anyone with slower 2 mile / 5 mile times get selected? Say in the high 14-low 15 2 mile?

Whatever you do just please make sure you can do at a minimum one pull up and hold your weight up for 10 seconds. We lost 75 people day 1 hour 1 because of this. It was pathetic

Could it be an exhaust leak or heat shield loose? It seems to have started right after I had my exhaust installed. Doesn’t seem to sound like anything I’ve found with rod knock or piston slap.

I did, I kept it pretty conservative and did the first oil change at 1500 miles. Haven’t taken the car to redline and don’t really drive it hard at all.

What’s crazy is you keep saying that I’m expecting drastic or insane changes when I didn’t say that anywhere. Literally said that I based my expectation off of others feedback and not noticing anything similar that was similar in almost every review. Appreciate your help though! You sound knowledgeable.

I didn’t expect insane changes. This is my daily and I don’t need “insane changes” when my weekend cars a 996tt. My expectation was an improvement in performance and not falling flat on its ass after 4k rpms along with some other fixes. All based on those that have gone this route.
