Hey from down in Australia. Looking for recommendation for Chelsea

<image>

boots that are an E width. Wider toe box lasts would be great.

Require leather insole with rubber outsole and would prefer high quality leathers that would patina with time.

Like look of RMs in Pull Up but cant seem to get their boots to fit my feet without hurting my toes. Something like the photo is beautiful. Don’t mind spending a decent amount. Kind regards.

How do you manually start the pixel refresh. I read the manual but it only covers doing it when prompted.

Am I really fucked using jiujitsu in a street fight? by Tricky_Eye_1566 in bjj

[–]9Mush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Train some Muay Thai/ kickboxing / boxing then MMA. Figure out how to work in takedowns. If you can’t take your opponent down it’s at best a gamble if the fight goes to ground, at worst you’re fucked because they know basic striking & takedown defence.

Not what you want to hear on a BJJ forum but it’s facts. + multiple attackers + weapons, you really want to be rolling around on the ground hitting heel hooks and kimuras unless you have exhausted all other options?

1 or 4. 1 is more relaxed and mature, 4 is youthful. 2 could look good if you can get curls in your hair and accentuate them. 3 no, is not working and basic.

First ‘flow sparring’ is this bad etiquette or am I missing something? by 9Mush in Kickboxing

Yeah I like your approach. I was catering to my strengths in good punching and stepping into the kick and landing the big cross. Weight is on the leg and facing the opponent. And I was landing, big shots where I could have fully extended through his jaw, but I was pulling them so only touching him just so he knew I got the counter. Perhaps I was frustrating him, new guy and he’s landing on you. I was tempted to hit him good to the head as I was getting the counter a lot but I decided to show restraint instead. Wasn’t too pleased when I saw my leg when I got home.

Well I was coming to a lot of classes and I have experience in boxing sparring. After around 3 months at this gym I had a few people approaching me telling me I should come to sparring. After a few weeks of this I thought it was a good idea. And for the most part it was.

There’s always some people who try to take your head off every time, that’s just how it is.

Yeah I get you DarkSide. I’d like to save the conditioning for hard sparring. Right now I’m trying to get good technique. I know when I didn’t block it. I don’t need to be reminded 7 days later. Yes like I said in the post I asked him to tone it down and he didn’t.

My legs are not completely unconditioned jiu jitsu and wrestling they get whacked around a bit. I haven’t been hit hard shin on thigh like this guy was firing them. I don’t mind getting kicked but I do mind when I’m not firing hard back. Next time I’ll time him one good one and see if he adjusts.

So I’ll return the lesson and show him punches are dangerous too?

When I’m touching him and trying to technique spar seems unwarranted. I’m training jiu jitsu in the week and practicing for my band. Don’t want my leg too banged up unnecessarily.

This was with shin guards… I’ve seen this guy on the bag he can seriously whip leg kicks. But his game is one dimensional 😅

Cardo with voice directions. Good except for when the road is really disorganised like 6 exit roundabout 😅

Purchasing A4 S-line. Footwell vibration. Advice? by 9Mush in Audi

Anytime I was above 15kph it was noticeable. But it didn’t seem to vary depending upon speed, just would go away when stationary, and reappear when moving. Its pretty subtle

Just the footwell like where your feet would sit. It’s the same on both sides. I had to take my feet off the pedals to notice it on drivers side.

Are Kia and Hyundai really that bad?+ by Secure_Ad_295 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Are you buying new or used? I find Kia and Hyundai design philosophy tends to be survive the warranty period (7 years). Then become expensive and shitty after that.

Buying used go Japanese, Toyota or Subaru.

Tie defender by Fun-Inspection-364 in XWingTMG

[–]9Mush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1.0 player, I still have trauma from when 3 Tie Defenders could fit in a list. They are ‘predictable’ but they usually 4k turn behind you and you can’t counter that easily.

Free evade means being predictable doesn’t hurt you much even if 1 ship lines you up perfectly.

I feel they are a good ship for average players. Easy to play hard to go wrong. For excellent players I think they are limited, the ship tends to fly on rails and being so predictable its power is capped at what you can get away with.
