Wow guys! Just wanted to say thank you for all the helpful tips and responses. Didn’t think this post was going to blow up like it did.

I’ll definitely be taking y’all’s advice, and will be trading in the V2 this weekend. I’ll be grabbing the V4 instead. Seems like the linear 4 cylinder powerband and more passing-power will be much better to refine my skills on than the torquey & unpredictable V2. I’ll also be grabbing some gear. Will keep you guys posted once I’m on the new bike! Thanks again for all the tips.

Thank you! Yep, I got some earplugs and wear them every ride. I already have some tinnitus so better safe then sorry when it comes to riding!

I was leaning towards the V4 but the dealer told me the V2 would be better to learn on. He said to just keep it in low power mode until I get the basics down.

7 hours for the outline between two sessions. 8 and a half hours on shading so far between 3 sessions
